Nebraska Sends a Warning. Bizee's Free Period Does Not.
Honest registered agent representation in Nebraska for $99/year. Includes the address used on filings, same-day scanning of legal mail, and reminders for state deadlines.
Before the comparison starts, the conflict of interest: this page belongs to NE Registered Agent.org, and we sell exactly the service being compared, at $99 a year in Nebraska. Bizee's numbers are theirs, logged during a July 2026 check of published pricing.
The Bundle Is Genuinely Worth Money
Bizee traded as Incfile before the rebrand, and the formation packages still carry registered agent coverage at no extra charge, running from three months on the entry tier up to a full twelve at the top. If forming an LLC was already on your list, those included months are real value and we are not going to argue with them. Nobody should turn down free coverage they were going to buy anyway.
Standalone, after the bundle expires, Bizee's agent service bills at $149 a year.
Nebraska Warns You Before It Acts
Something worth appreciating about this state. Nebraska does not quietly delete companies. Miss the biennial report and the Secretary of State issues a notice; only sixty days after that notice can the LLC be administratively dissolved, a sequence set out at Neb. Rev. Stat. § 21-130. The state builds a warning into the worst outcome it can hand you.
That is the standard the free-months arrangement fails to meet. The date your Bizee coverage stops being free depends on which package you bought and when you bought it. It generates no state notice, no letter, no sixty-day cushion. It simply becomes a $149 charge on a card, on a date you were responsible for remembering, in a year you may have forgotten you were counting toward.
Nebraska gives you a deadline printed on a public calendar. Bizee gives you a private one.
Fifty Dollars, Every Year, Permanently
Ready when you are. Ordering takes about five minutes.
Order HereOnce the free stretch ends the difference is arithmetic and it does not go away. Bizee at $149 against our $99 is $50 a year. Across one Nebraska report cycle, meaning the two years between odd-year filings, that is $100. Across a decade, $500. None of it buys a different statutory outcome, because the state asks the same three things of every agent it will accept.
We stop short of saying nobody undercuts us, because BetterLegal does: their published annual figure is $90. Ninety-nine puts us among the lowest quoted in this state, and it is the number that appears on every renewal we send.
Switching From Bizee: What Nebraska Actually Requires
Nebraska uses one document for this, and it can update three things in a single pass: where the designated office sits, who holds the agent appointment, and where that agent can be reached. A Nebraska LLC files the domestic limited liability company version.
- Qualify the incoming agent before anything else. Nebraska accepts an individual who lives in the state, or a person holding authority to transact business here. The filing has to show that agent's Nebraska street address; a PO box can ride along beside it but cannot stand in for it.
- Fill in the statement. Your entity name has to match the state's record exactly, then the incoming agent's details and whichever addresses are shifting. There is no form number to quote, because Nebraska does not number its forms. If an old guide shows you a $15 fee, that figure predates the state's July 2021 revision of this document.
- Send it to the Business Services Division and pay. Nebraska takes $25 for an electronic submission, with the portal's own small fee sitting on top of that, and $30 for one handed over in writing.
- Confirm on the public record. When the filing posts, your entity listing shows the new agent. That is the moment the job is finished, not the moment you hit submit.
One correction for people arriving from other states: you cannot slip this change into the biennial report. Nebraska separates the two filings completely, so the statement is the only route regardless of season.
Coverage never lapses if you get the order right. Sign the new agent first, then file. Bizee stays your official contact until the record updates, and the changeover happens in a single step rather than leaving Nebraska without anyone authorized to accept papers for your company.
The $99 Side
A Nebraska registered office address that replaces yours on the public file. Papers scanned the afternoon they arrive rather than the following week. Reminders before the January-to-April window in your report year. A portal that keeps the archive. If you want general business mail moved along on top of legal documents, we forward it at $15 per item, and that closes the list of things we could ever charge you for.
When the Free Months Run Out
Ready when you are. Ordering takes about five minutes.
Order HereThe end of a bundled period is the moment to price the service honestly, because that is the first time you are actually paying for it. At that point Bizee is $149 and we are $99, both of us doing the same statutory work in the same state. Nebraska's fee to move the appointment is $25.
