Service of Process, Explained for Nebraska Owners

Why Nebraska Requires This at All

State law requires every Nebraska LLC and corporation to keep a registered agent on file with an actual in-state street address — a P.O. box doesn't qualify. That address goes on the public record with Nebraska Secretary of State, and it's the exact address process servers are directed to use.
